Queen Charlotte (merchant ship) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Queen Charlotte (merchant ship)
The ''Queen Charlotte'' was a British Maritime Fur Trade merchant ship in the late 18th century. It was named after Charlotte, the queen consort of King George III. This merchant ship should not be confused with the various Royal Navy ships called HMS ''Queen Charlotte'' that were also named for this queen. In 1787, ''Queen Charlotte'' was on a trading voyage in the waters off north-western North America, and under the command of Captain George Dixon. He named the Queen Charlotte Islands after his ship. ==See also==
